I have been fascinated with Jigsaw puzzles, but I had never tried one with 1000 pieces. My sister-in-law's husband was coming back from Cambridge this past weekend, so I ordered London Looking North - 1,000 Piece Jigsaw , so that he could carry it back for me. It is really tough. I am just about figuring out the outer edge (simpler because of the straight edge) with some bits towards the center. This is what it looks in the product shot. Hopefully i should be done with it in a week or so... Lets see how it goes.

So we decided to order one right here directly since Amazon was kind enough to open up direct shipping to India. Amazon is by far the best online shopping experience. I (and many hundreds of thousands) already knew that... I've been shopping on Amazon for the past 5 odd years... and have held, that is the best shopping experience anywhere on the web. With ebay now imitating the Amazon experience, just proves what I and many many others also believe to be true. ZDNet story here Amazon is beyond just the shopping experience, I see Amazon to be one of the most innovative online entities. The amount of innovation that occurs there, is quite frankly, amazing...

I finally picked up The Complete Peanuts 1950-1954 & The Complete Peanuts 1955-1958 Amazon due date for recieving the books are 30th March... (ugh...). But actually it lands up much earlier than that... So I should have them anytime in this month. I just can't believe that they are going to take naother 11 years to publish all of peanuts... While I've got the first few years, in 5 years will we still buying books? These are collectors editions, but still...

I bought an Apple iPod 20 Gig for 299 USD. now nto only the price has dropped by some 15 USD but also the iPod 40 Gig price had fallen till a few days ago. (now it's back up to 399 SUD). I think Amazon realised that the Accessories included with this obsolete model makes it a good buy. The amusing part is that iPod Photo 40 Gig at 360 USSD is actually cheaper than the regular iPod 40 Gig . This model is also obsolete but includes all the necessary accesories... Docks Connectors etc. The best part of all... the iPod Photo 30 Gig at 330 USD is only $30 less than the iPod Photo 40 Gig which includes the accesories not present in the 30 GB model... The bottom line... I wish I had waited...
